Inspired by the annual conference in Portland, Oregon USA, the Urbanism Next Conference is hosting an interdisciplinary convening in Rotterdam, Netherlands of private, public and academic stakeholders who play critical roles in shaping the future of our cities. The conference will explore how technological, societal and economic trends will change land use, urban design, transportation, health, the economy, and more. Urbanism Next Europe will feature sessions in a variety of formats, from more traditional presentations (with Q/As and panel discussions) to more unconventional sessions (Pecha Kucha and ‘Brain-squeezing’). The Urbanism Next Europe Conference is organized as a partnership between Polis, the Urbanism Next Centre at the University of Oregon, TNO, and NUMO.
