9th St.Gallen Forum for Management of Renewable Energies
31 May - 1 June 2018, St. Gallen
With increasing renewable electricity production, the energy system is undergoing a shift towards decentralization. On a local scale, energy systems may become largely self-sufficient by combining small-scale energy conversion and storage, electromobility and new digital technologies. While this opens up space for new business models, it may also disrupt the status-quo of the energy market.
These topics will be the theme of the 9th edition of the #REMforum, organized by the Institute for Economy and the Environment (IWÖ-HSG) at the University of St. Gallen. The 2-day conference brings together researchers, managers, investors and stakeholders working in the energy sector. It offers a combination of talks, interactive workshops and networking to learn, discuss and exchange about current developments in the energy transition.
